Algebra Command Reference

The following are the abbreviations used in this section.

• Exp ... Expression (value, formula, variable, etc.)

• Eq ... Equation

• Ineq ... Inequality

Anything enclosed within square brackets can be omitted.

Function: Expands an expression.

Syntax: expand (

{Exp/Eq/Ineq} [ ) ]

Example To expand (X+2)

Function: Factors an expression up to its root.
